Linden completed our Kitchen renovation 6years ago. This involved taking down a structural wall between our kitchen and dining room and putting in a steels support, insulating our ceiling and re plastering, taking out our old kitchen and putting new in. |Fitting a new oak wood floor and skirting and oak doors.
we decided to choose Linden as he could complete the whole without us having to get in lots of tradesmen, and we weren't disappointed. Linden also provided a plumber and electrician.
we found Linden to be very hard working and working very long hours on occasions to get the job done. One of Lindens strengths is his ability to use his initiative. we encountered a few problems during the project, Linden thought the problems through and each time came up with a solution for us.
He is very conscientious and takes great pride in the work that he does and always wants to please his customers. He is also very good at offering advice and providing ideas of how to move forward with the project. He is also completely trustworthy, very reliable, versatile and flexible.
we were over the moon with our new kitchen and the quality of the installation. since our kitchen Linden has completed a number of jobs. Last year he reconfigured the layout of our landing and refitted our en-suite bathroom, both jobs were completed to an exceptional standard.
We have recommended Linden to a number of our friends who have also had him complete jobs for them and all have been very pleased with his work. Most recently he put a kitchen in for our best friends who are extremely pleased with Lindens work and their new kitchen. Linden recently fitted a new kitchen for me and my wife. His care and attention to detail even as he removed the old carcases which allowed us to sell the old kitchen. We had seen examples of his work before choosing him- and it was of a particularly high standard- and comments from other customers made us feel confident about using Linden.
He not only had to use joinery skill but also building work which meant that he didn't have to wait for other trades people to fit round him.
He offered advice in the design and both me and my wife would have absolutely no problem in recommending him to anybody who wants a first class job with a really amenable and helpful manner.

We were very happy with the quality and effort Linden put into the initial work he did for us in renovating or house - this continued to be the case for all the other jobs he has done for us since then.
The quality of his work shows up in the large and little, But Important, touches of how perfectly the kitchen furniture lines up and his innovative thinking whenever there was a problem. Linden was invariably able to suggest an effective workaround for all the building problems we encountered. For example, the standard fridge and freezer housings were too high for the rest of the kitchen so Linden cut these down to fit and the finished result was perfect- the kitchen units look great.
Linden also, unlike previous builders we'd had, turned up every day and on many occasions worked through until the late evening to get jobs completed. He was also able to do everything apart from the electrics and the replacement central heating, so this and his work ethic got our house renovation done as quick as humanly possible.
Finally this was a large renovation but Linden made every effort to minimise the impact on us ( as we continued to live in the house during the work) for example, he temporarily set up our cooker and hob in another part of the house while the new kitchen was being installed.
We have subsequently used Linden on other work from block paving our drive to installing UPVC facias and gutters and landscaping our gardens. All of which he has done to an incredibly high standard and found ways to minimise the cost to us - we cant recommend him highly enough.
